Beijing & Dalian, China — TAA Group, in collaboration with Dalian Neusoft University of Information (DNUI), successfully organized the AI Discovery Program Summer Camp Beijing–Dalian 2025, held from 19 June to 3 July 2025. The two-week international program gave participants a unique opportunity to deepen their understanding of artificial intelligence while experiencing China's culture, technological innovation, and academic environment.
Designed to broaden participants' global perspectives, the AI Discovery Program combined academic exploration with cultural immersion. Throughout the program, students engaged in interactive learning activities, visited leading technology companies, and explored some of China's most iconic landmarks.
Culture Meets Learning
As part of the cultural experience, participants took part in traditional Chinese activities, including Tai Chi, a Chinese Tea Art workshop, a Hanfu cultural experience, and Chinese calligraphy classes. These hands-on sessions allowed students to appreciate the history, philosophy, and traditions that continue to shape Chinese society today.
Inside China's Technology Ecosystem
The academic and industry components of the program also gave participants valuable insights into China's rapidly growing technology ecosystem. Students visited renowned technology companies, including Neusoft and Huawei, where they learned about advancements in artificial intelligence, digital innovation, software development, and smart technologies.
These visits provided firsthand exposure to real-world applications of AI and inspired participants to explore future opportunities in technology and innovation.
Exploring Beijing and Dalian
Beyond the classroom, participants explored the beauty and history of both Beijing and Dalian. In Beijing, they visited world-famous landmarks such as the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City, gaining a deeper appreciation of China's historical heritage.
The journey continued in Dalian with a visit to the Dalian Urban Planning Exhibition Center, where students learned how the city designs its future through architecture, infrastructure, and smart urban development.
A relaxing outdoor activity gave participants the opportunity to feed birds and appreciate Dalian's scenic environment — a memorable break that complemented the academic and cultural program.
